The first sip of Don Francisco’s 100% Colombia Supremo Medium Roast coffee was slightly disappointing, to be honest. However, something strange happened, and the more that I drank the more I liked the flavor! So much so that the entire tin is empty now… While I won’t try and say this is my favorite coffee, it certainly isn’t bad for the price. If you’re looking for a pure Colombian medium roast that is better than some of its competitors in similar price ranges, then I would definitely recommend you give Don Francisco’s a try.
This roast has a sweet, almost nutty taste to it. Hints of cocoa and butter can be noticed complementing this sweet roast. As far as the body is concerned… I have mixed feelings. The body is definitely on the watery side compared with some other Colombian coffees out there. However, it does have a very smooth, buttery quality to it that somewhat saves it.
All in all, you could do worse, but you could do better. For the price, I would totally recommend trying it out as it’s very cheap online! As I shifted through some of the comments I noticed most people either love this brand (as in completely addicted to it!) or hated it. Try it out and let me know your thoughts!
